The State of XXX : The Party is Over and The BBW Has Sung

I want to talk about the state of this business.

I’m trying to figure out what everybody is doing. What I mean by that is who the fuck is even shooting, who the fuck is even doing anything and where are the companies that used to be around and what are the companies that are still around and what are the people doing?

What I’m seeing is that the people who used to shoot, who used to matter, who used to shoot quality content on a regular basis, I have not figured out where these companies are. When you call them out they either bullshit or don’t respond at all.

First of all, we need to get an answer once and for all from Hustler. They don’t want to admit it. I know Drew Rosenfeld doesn’t want to admit it. But can we officially state that Hustler is done? Can we officially state that Hustler is no longer shooting new productions? Or is Drew Rosenfeld going to continue to bullshit us? Can we officially state that the days of Hustler making new content are over?

Hustler has not made a new production in months. They are putting out either old footage as new releases or are putting out movies that Axel Braun did before he left for Wicked Pictures. I want Drew Rosenfeld to come out and tell us that Hustler Video is not making new productions and they will not be making new productions in the future. The party’s over and the BBW has sung. It’s over. Finished. Finito.

If you go to their site, you will see that what they’re releasing is either old compilation footage or internet content. Scenes that were shot a couple years ago and are being released on DVD. Basically what you are looking at is garbage. But they say that they are still going strong. Kicking ass. I’m looking at what they’re releasing in the next couple of months and one of those features is Platinum X’s Bucket Blasters starring Daphne Rosen. This, ladies and gentlemen, is an old movie. Platinum X is not in business anymore. None of the actresses in this movie are around anymore. That fact that this is what the industry is putting out right now is further evidence that the business is dead. If you’re gonna tell me it’s not, you’re out of your fucking mind.

There’s a movie called Evan Stone presents The Hottest Sluts in Porn. Starring Jenna Presley. Really? Jenna Presley. She’s not in the business anymore. She’s a Jesus freak now. This is a new release? It’s not a new release. It’s old comped shit that’s repackaged.

So there’s your Hustler.

Pulse Distribution. Let’s see what else is going on there. Here’s the Vivid lineup. Their next release is February 11th. Prior to that, they released BNF 43 on January 28th, directed by B. Skow. We know that’s old because B. Skow aka Michael Bisco has not been there in over a year. Vivid’s not putting out any new movies. I told you all this, but you all looked at me like I was a jerk off. Can you guys tell me what was the last new Vivid movie?

How does the business thrive when Vivid had no productions and Hustler has no productions? If you look at Pulse Distribution they do not have a fucking movie at all coming out. Real Teen Jackoff is out February 11th and it’s also directed by B. Skow. Which means that it was done over a year ago. Vivid has no upcoming movies on the schedule. There is nothing in the pipeline. If there was, you would see it on the schedule.

Can we finally agree that’s it’s done? Vivid and Hustler. The two biggest players in the game. Vivid is THE biggest. And there’s not one movie that is on the schedule to be released. The proof is in the pudding, guys. www.pulsedistribution.com/catalog/studio/136/Vivid.html

If you don’t think that Steven Hirsch wouldn’t still be releasing DVD’s if there was any money to made on it, I’ve got a bridge to sell you called The George Washington and there’s a big fat governor at the end of it eating buckets of KFC.

When you hail Steve Hirsch as a genius and a visionary and you look and see that he’s not producing new movies anymore, why do you think that is? You gotta look at Larry Flynt and ask why is he producing movies anymore? Are those two stupid and everyone else is a genius? Is that what it is? I don’t think so.

Even everyone’s favorite New Sensations. You can see that they’ve either slowed to a crawl or are doing what everyone else is doing. There are putting out movies that you know are old because they feature girls who are not in the business anymore. I’m looking at comps, 4 hours, 6 hours, all compilations. They put a couple new releases out here and there in their romance line because they have good deals with Lions’s Den and Hustler cable, but everything else is old footage and comps.

Thriving business, guys.

Let’s see what Wicked Pictures is up to. Jan 27th they released Modern Romance. January 3rd is Just Friends. February 10th is SOS: Sex on the Streets #1. That’s an Axel Braun that was already released through Vivid. So they’re actually releasing old Axel Braun movies as new releases. That’s pretty wild, man. I don’t see much on their upcoming release schedule either. The stuff that’s been released in the past couple of months include Batman XXX and Elvis XXX, both Axel Braun/Vivid re-releases. If they have new stuff coming up in February that’s not listed here, I will stand corrected. But that doesn’t make any sense because they would want to hype it if there were new releases.

Even the great and awesome Evil Angel is putting out shit. Johnni Darkko is putting out a five scene blow job tape called Cum Crossfire. A four scene Glenn King facesitting movie. Something with Francesca Le and Mark Wood which is all content trade crap. The same shit they were putting out through Exquisite and selling for four dollars. How does Evil Angel call themselves the number one company and how do they justify their pricing when all they put out is low end internet crap? OK, John Stagliano and Christian Mann. You guys are just kicking ass, man. Kicking ass.

So there’s your porn roundup. There’s your state of the business. Nothing more, nothing less. I just laid out the top five studios. What do you got? Absolute shit.

When you hear people talk about innovation and being at the forefront of technology and all of the creative things that they’re doing, they are doing nothing more than blowing smoke up your asses and in turn blowing that smoke back up their own asses to give them a sense of self importance and try to make themselves feel bigger and better and more relevant than they are, because their time has come and gone and they basically have a big fat bowl of nothing.

There’s no more inspiration, no more creativity. The only thing that remains are the people trying to milk every last dollar off the dying tit of what’s left of the adult business.

This is your business. This is the state of your business. And it’s sad.
