With Short notice and an all star cast of characters it was going to be interesting to see how the AVN award winning Tommy Gunn Birthday party was going to turn out.
They say you should promote a good party for a minimum of three weeks before the big night. That rarely happens anymore with anyone in the party game, the Gunn Birthday party news came out two days before it was to go down.
If anyone can break the rules and make it work, the Tommy Gunn camp could. They had Rock star and, porn director, Dave Navarro hosting the party, they had New Sensations contract star Ashlynn Brooke there. Yes she is in the same camp and yes she is still with the newly quiet New Sensations Company.
The party was held at the trendy Opera club in Hollywood California, you know where the friendly doormen that we all know work and you may insert any club name in the Hollywood area for the beginning of this sentence.
All joking aside the club was actually accommodating for the Tommy Gunn Birthday party, maybe because there were rock stars in the group, we just can’t be sure about how guest will be treated, but this one was nice and friendly.
Dave Navarro hung out as advertised, took pictures and hosted well. Tommy and Ashlynn arrived and had some fun, the legend Ron Jeremy stopped by to wish Tommy a Happy Birthday and as always was swamped by fans throughout the night. One of our favorite directors and party partners, Tee Reel came in and hung with the crowd for a while.
Super sexy Penthouse Pet of the Year and Vivid Girl Sunny Leone was in attendance as was hot ass (literally) Tori Black. Kylee King, Eleana Heiress , Gabriela Romano, Larin Lane, Whitney Stevens, Britney Stevens and Kayla Paige, who is looking very good lately, were just some of the hot industry ladies at the event.
Evil Angel’s Karen Stagliano came by to show her support as did April from VMG Publicity. I hear the people who produce My Bare Lady were also somewhere in the room but wanted to keep a low key night. They succeeded during the night, “your welcome”.
We will wrap this story with a thought and a question. Do you have to bang out 100 press releases for your party to be a success in the adult industry?
The answer, at least for this night is, nope, if you have star juice in your club seats, chances are your going to have a good event.
The Tommy Gunn Birthday party was a good event, even if you did not hear about it.
