LANDSDALE, Pa. – Hailed as one of the best directors in the adult industry
by online video reviewers, director Tommy Kaye launches “The Collectors,”
his production company’s debut title.
Starring Lisa Rose, Linda Slim, Evelyne Foxy, Sandra Parker, Vanessa Moore
and Kyra Banks, “The Collectors” brings the style and aesthetic Kaye’s
developed during his time in the adult industry by mixing beautiful, fresh
women with stunning locations.
Don’t confuse Tommy Kaye Productions with a typical startup. Kaye’s had over 12 years under his belt directing and producing quality adult programming.
The creator of the “Twisted Tommy” and “Rusty Boner” video lines also
directed for Legend Video, Puritan International, Nitro, Arrow, Odyssey
Group and Casso Rosso Amsterdam. In addition to his X-rated cred, Kaye also
has a background in mainstream video production and engineering. Tommy Kay
Productions has a reputation for delivering high quality adult titles to
demanding cable, satellite and hotel chain customers.
“‘The Collectors’ bridges the gap between the production values of feature
movies with the hardcore sex of gonzo,” Kaye said. “Storylines, great sex
and high production values ‹ it’s a mix that more and more consumers are
demanding. We test marketed ‘The Collectors’ by allowing randomly selected
gonzo fans the opportunity to screen and review the DVD before its release.
The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive from both the fans and
video reviewers. I chat almost daily with the fans through various online
adult fan forums. I hear over and over that the consumers wish to see
quality and creativity as well as nasty, hardcore sex. All of our upcoming
titles will be produced with that high standard in mind.”
Tommy Kaye Productions added John Florian as national sales manager. Florian is an industry vet with 10-plus years in adult sales and who also represents Third World Media.
Upcoming titles will also feature packaging that will pop from store
shelves.
“We intentionally gave the ‘The Collectors’ packaging a retro ’80s look and
feel. Some of my favorite movies were produced in that era. Also, when I
walk into a video store all the packaging looks the same. We are attempting
to be different and stand out from the sea of sameness,” said Kaye.
Touches, such as upcoming title “Country Fresh” including a car air
freshener and “Derriere Digest” integrating an eight page mini-magazine
featuring a centerfold into its cover, are planned.
“The DVD packaging is part of the overall buying experience that’s lost with video on demand or broadcast delivery,” Kaye said. “We want the experience that consumers have with Tommy Kaye Productions to not only be enticing from what they see on the DVD, but from the moment they pick it up.”
“The Collectors” is available on store shelves now.
