MATTOON, Illinois – from – www.jg-tc.com – — A bull ride that allegedly involved riders going topless and bottomless led to obscenity charges for a local bar manager, according to a Mattoon police deputy chief.
Last month Kevin L. Parrott, 54, of Mattoon received a ticket from police at his home on a charge of allowing an obscene performance or exhibition to occur at the Villa Nova Bar & Grill, 516 Piatt Ave., earlier that morning, said Deputy Police Chief Jeff Branson. The activity reportedly involved women exposing their breasts and buttocks during a bikini bull riding event in the bar after midnight.
Parrott, who is manager of the Villa Nova, is accused of allowing the obscene acts to take place.
Parrott was issued a city notice to appear in court and reports were forwarded to the liquor commissioner and Mattoon city attorney.
