Porn Valley- Wankus could probably make a show just out of some of the phone messages he receives. Such was the case earlier this week when Wankus announced that JKP contract girl Tyler Faith was coming on board as a KSEX peejay starting next Wednesday. And then Wankus proceeded to play a message he got from Faith to that issue.
“Man we got a lot of turnover here don’t we?” co-ho Rebecca Love laughed. “Every fucking week there’s an announcement of a new host.”
Wankus said Faith’s show, which will air the fourth Wednesday of the month, was in the works for some time. To the flake issue, which Love was implying, Wankus said you could pay performers $10,000 and they wouldn’t show. “You’re either responsible or you’re not. And there’s a lot of people in this business who just aren’t.”
Evidence of that, said Wankus was the KSEX shoot this year in which performers were paid generous money and still flaked. “It’s got nothing to do with pay for porn responsibility. People are either responsible or they’re not.” Wankus also pointed out that there were many KSEX peejays like Alana Evans, Love, Katie Morgan, Kylie Ireland and Ginger Lynn with long stretches of service at the station. “Actually it’s the big name stars that stay the longest,” said Wankus. “They get it. They understand how it works.”
Wankus conceded that while the idea of having your own show might sound pretty neat, the reality is, there’s a lot of work to maintaining it. “It’s not everyone can do a radio show. It involves prepping your show, scheduling your guests, showing up, that kind of shit.” That all being said, Faith, according to Wankus was scheduled for “training”.
“Everyone goes through the Radio 101 speech,” explained Wankus who had Faith scheduled to come in Tuesday this week. “We’re going to be training for her radio show.” Wankus said he and Faith had been talking a couple of weeks ongoing about strategies and format. “She calls me and she’s excited. We were going to make this date on Tuesday. On Friday she leaves me a message confirming our training session. You want to know why porn stars are so jacked? You want a foreshadow of how this fucking show is going to be?”
Wankus then proceeded to play the phone message he got from Faith. “Remember, we’ve got a date for Tuesday and she’s already got the day wrong in two areas,” he said setting the table.
Faith, like she’s been on a toot, says: “Hello Wankus, this is Tyler. I just wanted to remind you that Saturday we have a meeting, a learning session on Saturday. So I just wanted to make sure that you don’t forget about it. If you don’t meet me on Tuesday there will be big problems, big, big problems, mister.”
Love, hearing Faith’s somewhat blurred attempt to leave a reminder said she had three words to say: “Under the influence.”
Wankus, laughing, said the most fucked up thing is the fact that Faith doesn’t drink. “She doesn’t do drugs. I think maybe she smokes cigarettes but that’s it.”
For the record, Wankus said Faith’s show is supposed to be the fourth Wednesday of every month.
“But it could be on Saturday or Tuesday.”
