San Diego- Last month, a UCSD student produced and starred in a porn video https://www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=8325, then aired it three times on campus closed-circuit TV.

Now, a student panel says it will establish guidelines for its student run television station.

Students met Wednesday night to establish some rules for the network’s programming.

But the porn producer, Steve York, says a student-run panel doesn’t have the experience to establish indecency standards. Now, a full-fledged debate is now underway.

“He has the right to express what he wants on this campus TV station,” said Mohan Kanlingo.

“It takes away from the ideal of freedom of speech and it defiles it,” noted another UCSD student.

Until the panel settles on what the rules will be, York says he and the station will continue to air what they want.
