Tuesday I wrote this: A couple of month’s ago I began seeing Evil Angel advertisements on Manwin-owned tubes sites. Then I began hearing that Manwin bought Evil Angel. I called Christian Mann [pictured] twice Monday to ask what was up. I left messages. He never called back.

Christian Mann writes: I wish you would email before posting. Anyway, as I just posted on Twitter:

Ignore the rumors. Evil Angel is owned by Buttman. There hasn’t even been any discussion about changing that. End of story.

Gene replies: With all due respect, what happened to the good old fashioned phone? I called Mann’s office twice and waited another full day before posting. He asks why didn’t I email? I ask why didn’t Mann return my phone calls? Call me old fashioned but I still use the instrument because I like hearing things straight from the horse’s mouth. Mann’s got no one but himself to blame.
