“Right now she’s in NYC – she’s alive,” writes Peaks after I posted the story.

I call Peaks to make sure this e-mail is from her and not some imposter playing a vicious game.

Peaks was wondering if there was more than one Madelyn Knight because the Knight she talked to certainly was alive.

“She’s totally alive and well, and she’s got a fiancee,” says Peaks. “She’s living in New York. You know how this industry is – some weirdo ex boyfriend starts posting stuff, and that’s what it looks like happened.”

Peaks says she talked to Knight Tuesday night.

“She’s been on the Body Miracle site for awhile,” says Peaks.

Peaks first called Knight to let her know the story was up and left a message. Knight apparently returned the call.

“This would hurt her business if people thought she was dead,” says Peaks
