ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) – A St. Johnsbury woman has been charged with sending pornography – via cell phone – to a 13-year-old girl.

Forty-year-old Brenda Simard-Reid was released on conditions Monday after a court appearance in which she denied six misdemeanor charges of sending pornographic material to a minor.

The Caledonian-Record says the conditions include that she not abuse or harass the girl, who police say had the text and images on her cell phone when it was confiscated because she was using the phone on a school bus, in violation of school rules.
