Hollywood, CA –in front of a huge audience Thursday night (March 4), “The 1” Contest, an extreme beauty and talent competition, crowned Veronica Lynn as the winner of its first phase.

An Iraqi Veteran, who has served 2 tours of duty with the Navy, she beat out the talent and modeling performances of a dazzling group of Contestants including Playboy and Penthouse centerfolds.

The event was hosted by Lou Pizarro star of Tru TV’s “Operation Repo”. Judges for the event included Jennifer Korbin (Star of Cinemax TV series “Lingerie”), Lux Kassidy (Penthouse Pet and MMA fighter), Joe Rose (Hollywood talent agent), Marcellas Reynolds (Host of E! Entertainment’s “Perfect Catch”), Judy Ironbow (Beauty contest winner) and more.

“The One Contest has proven to be not only a wonderful experience personally, but also professionally. I have grown not only as a model and actress, but as a person as well. I have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people that are affiliated with the project.

Billed as a risqué Miss USA Contest meets America’s Got Talent, “The 1” Contest (www.The1Contest.com) is a unique beauty and talent competition based on beauty, personality, physique and talent which is “R” rated and the periodic winners get to work with Hollywood entertainment professionals to film a segment of their talent.

The March 4 winner will receive $1000 and get to do a professional shoot. The grand prize winner will receive up to $20,000.
