Jason Sechrest may be jerking off to Van Diesel. But the actor’s dog jerked off the wrong dick and now Diesel faces a court date in June.

The action star is facing an $8m lawsuit after his beloved dog Roman allegedly savaged a visiting Hollywood screenwriter.

The National Enquirer reports that Michael Kerner had called around to the actor’s home for a script meeting when the attack occurred.

According to the gossip tabloid, Roman – a mastiff weighing 170lbs – “lunged at [Kerner] for no reason and clamped down on his crotch”. The writer was later ferried to the hospital where he received “three stitches in his penis and two in his scrotum”.

Vin Diesel, the star of XXX and Pitch Black, is believed to have paid Kerner’s original hospital bill. But the screenwriter contends that the costs of the attack have since risen.

The suit alleges that Kerner suffered “deep lacerations, nerve damage, loss of physical sensation, psychological harm and mental distress”. It adds that “the plaintiff will need lifetime psychological care and medications”.

Assuming that both parties cannot arrive at an out-of-court settlement, a jury trial is set for June 16, 2004.
