With a weekend that saw Pittsburgh almost losing to Jacksonville, Chicago taking it to Minnesota and Tampa Bay killing Atlanta. I felt lucky to walk away with an 8-7 record, and Harry who must have been thinking the same way on some of the games, gave up two wins to Chris R from KSEX, www.ksexradio.com.
And because I rationalized every pick, I produced the worst record among the staff. Last week when I didn’t give a shit I marched away 13-3. But what did I tell you about Chicago. I pick ’em to lose, they win. Same with the New York Giants this year. Another albatross around my neck. And what was I thinking by picking Miami over Buffalo? Oh, I know what I was thinking. I was talked into it. I won’t mention that it was Sean from Porn Legends, www.pornlegends.com who did the talking but I bought into the value of it being a warm weather game and that Buffalo would probably wilt. I also figured that would happen with Philly having a possible let down after clinching last week and Green Bay coming in with a six game win streak. But it was Brett Favre who wilted and the Green Bay defense made Donovan McNabb look like Peyton Manning.
This all being said, here’s how the records stack up as we go into tonight’s Dallas-Seattle game.
Harry Weiss holds on to first with a 131-60 record. Harry was 9-6 this weekend and Chris R from KSEX, by going 11-4 is now only three games behind with a 128-63 mark. There will be no change with both gents going with Seattle in tonight’s game. In fact Seattle is the unanimous pick among Adultfyi’ers.
Shannon from www.adultdvdempire.com showed 9-6 for Sunday and remains in third place at 124-67. I’m in fourth at 121-70.
Meanwhile Sean my buddy who recommended Miami, came in at 9-6 and has a season record of 117-74 for fifth place.
Sports Swami and Wankus continue to be tied for sixth at 115-76. Both had matching 9-6 records for Sunday.
Porno Steve had a 10-5 Sunday but is still in seventh with 109-82 record. Steve from Las Vegas Novelties, www.lvni.com had a 9-6 weekend and is 107-84 for the season. And Billy The Crystal, the arbiter of the spirit world, also came in 9-6 and is 103-88 for the season.
