Porn valley- Week 3’s big game is New England at Pittsburgh and the Adultfyi.com pool standings will see a shake up. Steve of Mallcom who has a 20-12 record going into this weekend, is trailed by Bill Margold with a 19-13 record as well as Sean from Porn Legends also at 19-13.
Steve and Bill differ on four games while Sean pretty much matches up with Steve but for two contests. The only ones picking New England in the pool, however, are Steve Lane and Billy The Crystal. New England, of course, has won four of its last five meetings with Pittsburgh including their 41-27 victory in the playoffs last January at Pittsburgh. Going into this game, Ben Roethlisberger leads the NFL with a 153.6 passer rating, and its defense has allowed a total of 14 points.
Roethlisberger’s only loss in 17 NFL starts has been to the Patriots which are 34-4 in its last 38 games. And it was Pittsburgh who ended New England’s NFL-record streak of 18 victories last October 31 with a 34-20 victory. The Steelers have a current run of 15 consecutive regular-season victories. What does all of this mean? Who the fuck knows.
Another interesting game to watch will be New Orleans at Minnesota if only to answer the question whether the Vikings suck as bad as their 37-7 loss to Cincinnati last week would indicate.
But the game I’m really checking out is Oakland at Philly and the T.O. vs. Randy Moss matchup. Owens last week had a stupendous first 19 minutes against the 49ers making five catches for 143 yards and two touchdowns. But Owens and quarterback Donovan McNabb are nursing injuries. Owens has a nagging abdominal/groin problem, and McNabb hurt his groin just before halftime against the 49ers after suffering a bruised chest in the season opener.
Moss in the game last week against Kansas City was basically a non factor in the last 13 minutes although he did have a 64-yard TD reception in the third quarter. Statistically, the last time the Raiders started their season 0-3 was in 1992.
