The Adultfyi basket is a little less full this weekend with the dropout of one participant. Did he call 911 like T.O.? Perhaps we’ll never know.

A couple of big games are lining up this weekend, including New England at Cincinnati. New England totally smelled out Foxboro last weekend and the question looms if they’re mortal enough now to lose back to back games? New England has always struggled against the Bengals although they hold an 11-8 series record. Although Carson Palmer got sacked six times, Cincinnati, overall, looked pretty good against Pittsburgh last weekend who may be in a death rattle so it’s hard to tell if the Bengals truly are for real.

So far, Palmer has completed 64.7 percent of his passes (55 of 85) for 672 yards and six TDs- less than what he did this time last year when he connected for 71.1 percent of his passes (69 for 97) for 786 yards and eight scores. New England is coming off a 17-7 loss to Denver a week ago, but hasn’t lost two games in a row since 2002. I think they’re about ready.

And thank God it’s a Sunday night game, else Los Angeles would never be treated to the Seattle-Chicago game. With running back Shaun Alexander out with a foot injury, the Hawks, judging by last week against the Giants, still have a lot of offense. Matt Hasselbeck threw for five scores but the Bears have yet to allow a passing touchdown all season. Except this will be a game where you throw the stats out the window.
