WWW- The results of the NFL’s Week 4 serve notice. There’s no way of safely calling a game any more. The undefeated Indianapolis Colts have been a near unanimous pick all season, but you know that’s going to end very soon. And New England which was everyone’s pick yesterday got walloped. Or maybe it’s because The Patriots got the great karmic comeuppance for the 52 extra seconds that were added to the clock the week before in their game against Pittsburgh thus allowing them to kick a game-winning field goal. Who knows.
Then there was the game in Mexico between the San Francisco Forty Beaners and the Arizona Cardinals. In the opening minutes it appeared that San Francisco was going to be running fumbles into the end zone all afternoon. Then the Federales got called in and Arizona more than settled in for the win.
However you call these games, someone will win. I think Joe Theisman once said that. And yesterday’s results have sent the Adultfyi.com standings into a spin. Steve Seidman had his best afternoon, ever, going 11-2. With that, Steve takes over first place and is now 38-21. John Gray moves into second place with a 37-22 record thanks to a 10-3 afternoon. Bill Margold and Plus One who shared the lead, came in with 7-6 afternoons and are now three games behind in the standings. Tonight the consensus is Carolina in their game against Green Bay which means that Green Bay will probably take it. That’s the way it’s been going.
