Needless to say, Week 4 in the NFL was the worst in Adultfyi pool history. Jack Spade played the longshots and came up 8-5. While San Diego was everyone’s unanimous choice, they rewarded each and all a notch in the loss column. The norm yesterday was 5-8.
Brett Fav-ruh had another big day, and the Eagles went back to playing the brand of ball they’re capable of- generating a 3 point offense and a record-tying 12 sacks at the hands of the Giants.
[Bloomberg]- Brett Favre broke Dan Marino’s record for career touchdown passes as the Green Bay Packers remained undefeated with a 23-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Favre threw for 344 yards and a pair of touchdowns yesterday in Minneapolis, giving him 422 over his 17-year National Football League career. Favre’s 16-yard scoring pass to Greg Jennings in the first quarter moved him past Marino, who held the record for 13 seasons.
The Packers improved to 4-0 and are one of four undefeated teams in the NFL along with Indianapolis, Dallas and New England. The Colts beat the Denver Broncos 38-20 yesterday, while the Cowboys routed the St. Louis Rams 35-7.
The Patriots, at 3-0, visit the Cincinnati Bengals tonight. The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered their first loss of the season yesterday, falling to the Arizona Cardinals 21-14.
The New York Giants tied an NFL record with 12 sacks, including six by Osi Umenyiora, in last night’s 16-3 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Indianapolis 38, Denver 20: Peyton Manning passed for 193 yards and three touchdowns, and Joseph Addai rushed for 136 yards and a score for the Colts (4-0). The Broncos are 2-2.
Dallas 35, St. Louis 7: Tony Romo threw for 339 yards and three touchdowns, and also ran for a score as the Cowboys improved to 4-0. The Rams are 0-4.
Arizona 21, Pittsburgh 14: Kurt Warner threw for a touchdown, Edgerrin James ran for a score and Steve Breaston returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown for the Cardinals (2- 2). The Steelers are 3-1.
Buffalo 17, New York Jets 14: Rookie Trent Edwards threw a touchdown pass and Marshawn Lynch ran for a score for the Bills (1-3). The Jets are 1-3.
Oakland 35, Miami 17: Daunte Culpepper threw for a pair of touchdowns and ran for three scores for the Raiders (2-2). The Dolphins are 0-4.
Atlanta 26, Houston 16: Joey Harrington threw two touchdown passes to Michael Jenkins, and Morten Andersen kicked four field goals to give the Falcons (1-3) their first win. Matt Schaub threw for 317 yards and a score for the Texans (2-2).
Cleveland 27, Baltimore 13: Derek Anderson threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns, and Jamal Lewis ran for a score for the Browns (2-2). The Ravens are 2-2.
Detroit 37, Chicago 27: Jon Kitna threw a pair of touchdown passes, and Kevin Jones ran for a touchdown for the Lions (3-1). Brian Griese, replacing Rex Grossman, threw for two touchdowns and was intercepted three times for the Bears (1-3).
Tampa Bay 20, Carolina 7: The Buccaneers (3-1) got first quarter touchdown runs from Jeff Garcia and Earnest Graham. The Panthers are 2-2.
Seattle 23, San Francisco 3: Matt Hasselbeck threw for 281 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Seahawks (3-1). The 49ers (1-3) gained only 184 total yards.
Kansas City 30, San Diego 16: Damon Huard threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns as the Chiefs (2-2) scored 24 points in the second half. The Chargers are 1-3.
