WWW- The last time Terrell Owens and the Eagles faced Dallas, Owens got horse collared by Dallas safety Roy Williams [now an illegal move], taken to the ground and suffered a broken leg and sprained ankle. It was amazing that Owens would even return to play in the Super Bowl. Rematch time with Owens and the Eagles playing in Dallas this Sunday.
Owens so far tops the NFL with 32 receptions and 506 yards, while McNabb leads the league in passing yards and touchdowns. In their last 10 meetings against the Cowboys, the Eagles have won nine games which means they are at statistical odds on Sunday.
Are the New England Patriots mortal? Well they’ve certainly been playing that way with injuries being dealt to several key defensive players. Last Sunday’s 41-17 loss to San Diego thus ending their 21-game home winning streak puts them at odds this Sunday facing Michael Vick who will start despite an injured right knee sustained against Minnesota. Vick has also been nursing a hamstring injury. But New England has been shitty against the run and Atlanta has been averaging 209 rushing yards per game. The last time New England played the Falcons was in 2001 when they won that game 24-10.
