Hollywood, CA- Over one thousand people came together to be a part of
one of Hollywood’s slickest and shiniest events, The First Annual West
Coast Fetish Ball.
Despite the cold winter night and a threat of rain, a crowd clad in latex, leather, and the amazing lined up down the street as they waited to get into this spectacular event.
The night did not disappoint. Syrenlatex.com and Stockroom.com delivered
incredible demonstrations with local performers and sex-educators and a
fantastic latex fashion show.
Topping the peak of the night was a stunning performance by Midori [pictured] and Kumi. Suspended from mid-air in Japanese rope bondage, Kumi found herself an artistic canvas as her clothes were removed with a cleaver
and Midori smeared the bound model with black paint. Midori, clad in a
tentacle monster headdress and a blue latex bodysuit, cut through the a
net above the stage and unleashed dozens of fish upon Kumi, across the
stage, and into the audience. Stockroom.com founder and CEO Joel Tucker
referred to the pair’s act as “A very cool and memorable performance
which I found best viewed at a distance.”
This was not the end of the evening however, energy remained high
through the night. People were coming in as late as 2:40 in the morning.
Many attendees had brought their own BDSM toys and equipment to play at
stations furnished around the theater. Dance, performances, and kinky
fun continued until the lights came up at 3:00 A.M. As the guests
departed, everyone was provided with Stockroom.com’s latest catalog and
special coupons for everyone who came.
Overall, The First Annual West Coast Fetish Ball was a hit with everyone
that night. Karen Stagliano of Evil Angel was very impressed, “My
favorite thing about The West Coast Fetish Ball is that it’s accessible
to people who are new and curious to the scene, but yet, it doesn’t feel
like fluff to those who have been around a while. There’s eye candy and
entertainment for everyone.”
Michael Gross, mainstream producer and creator of MikeyAndMandy.com
calls the ball “Cool, like going to a sci-fi convention with an emphasis
on sex instead of Wookies.” Joanne Cachapero of Xbiz and Eros-Zine wrote
that the night had “Lots of latex and fun for fans of alternative erotic
play.” Industry reporter Tony Batman summed up his experience with “You
can see and experience things that you may not ever think up in your own
head.
As the lights came up at the end, Joel Tucker, founder and CEO of the
event’s sponsor Stockroom.com simply summed up his experience by saying
“Thank you so much, we owe you one!”
While a date for the next West Coast Fetish Ball has not been set, plans
