I haven’t been able to corroborate the story entirely but am told that $17,000 of $20,000 collected so far, including money from the recent Blondage event, has gone directly to AIM. I’m now hearing rumblings that other independent fund raisers are being set up that will go DIRECTLY to the performers, no middleman red tape involved.

I understand that NIOSH, the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health has plans to investigate the adult industry. A whole slew of meetings are now being set up for this week and next. NIOSH will be looking at production companies, for one. I’m told that “a lot of people are going to be in for a lot of surprises.”

There was an industry performer years ago from the East Coast named Dusty. She supposedly contracted HIV and disappeared from the business. So this should come as unsettling news to some. Dusty was used by at least one porn company to serve as a “hostess” during the porn conventions. Wonder how many distributors or customers of said company got a little more than what they bargained for?
