Marcus London replies: “So what happen to Spartacus? Well I can tell you Nick Andrews has not been on the project since September last year when he handed the project back due to conflicting schedules which from that point on I and my friend Simon began the project from scratch.
“And after speaking with Wicked and realizing it wouldn’t be out by AVN, we decided to slow the project down and spend more time on the design of the fight scenes in post, coupled with the search for the perfect sound track to drive this great movie.
“After a massive delay with some difficult wire effect shots that had to be painted out by our a mainstream professional CGI specialists we then took it else where and handed it to our Canadian fight coordinators company to complete which then got done in only 7 days.
“So with the fact that the movie is our own London Gunn and Miko Lee production house, we felt that rushing this film out after missing it’s original slated release date was no longer important and focusing on us being happy with the project we are to show the world is of great importance to us as filmmakers.
“Although you will say to yourself well what’s all the fuss about it’s just a porn? Well that’s where you are wrong. It’s much more than that and after having an extremely high profile Hollywood producer contact and meet us to express how impressed he was with our work on this movie so now anything negative coming from the industry or fans about our film carries no weight.
“In our eyes, what we created is a movie with more heart and feeling than anything before it and the adult content blends in well with the story and characters without the sex feeling forced upon the story as it does in many productions in adult.
“The fact many people will see this movie as a parody is unfortunate as parodies just make a mockery of a film. This is not a parody. It is our version of the historic tale of Spartacus, a remake a homage would be the better way to describe our film, and if you’re still wondering when will this epic movie be released well I can say it will be out in the next few months.”
