Posted on www.pornlegends.com: Sunday afternoon, Gene Ross of Adultfyi.com, had the adult industry all aflutter when he posted the following:
Porn Valley – Evan Stone was shot by an unknown assailant on a Hustler set Saturday afternoon. Stone, who was working for director Mark Kismet, was playing a character in the second installment of a soap opera. Stone was fired upon as he was getting into his car.
The story went on to give details of which stars were on the set at the time of Stone’s shooting and ended with “story in progress.”
Well, we posted that story quicker than a fat kid eats cake. Then the speculation began around Porn Legends’ headquarters on who shot Stone. Was it a crazed female porn star? Maybe it was a pissed off suitcase pimp unhappy with the way Stone fucked his meal ticket. Or maybe, just maybe, some Right-Wing religious fanatic popped him. Hey, anything is possible in this day and age.
During this time, we even heard a rumor that Pornland Security kicked up the alert status to “code red” and that Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson were taken to separate undisclosed locations. [Everyone knows Ron’s is the nearest KFC.]
It was not until later in the day that Gene posted the rest of his story. To make a long story short, he was on the Hustler set Saturday and he was just recapping the events of that day. Stone wasn’t shot, but his “shooting” was simply part of the script.
From what we can gather, Gene did an excellent job sucking us in, along with several members of the industry’s lesser news types, with his story. However, we at Porn Legends will be the only Web site to admit it.
Congratulations, Gene, you kicked us ALL in the balls Sunday. Just goes to show why he is the best writer in the business.
