What an amazing alternative to all the downtown bars in Windsor. So happy to hear that Scott Leckie and his wife Maxine X talked with the Windsor Downtown Business Improvement Association about their “pedigree and business plan.”
This is going to bring people in droves to downtown for sure. On top of that, we give them two-thirds of a page in our newspaper.
All I can say at this point is, are we all brain-dead? There’s a saying, “One thing man learns from history is that man does not learn from history.”
Do you really think this is off to a good start on improving our downtown for Windsor families? It’s history how the bar scene has eroded our downtown and now we think having an adult porn shop is a step in improvement? Give your heads a shake.
There are so many wonderful towns and small cities like Windsor that have revitalized their downtowns with wonderful shops and businesses that families love to visit.
With our proximity to the waterfront, it’s an absolute shame that we can’t get our act together here and develop something we can bring our families to, as well as be proud to show off to visitors.
As long as we continue with the same limited mentality, the results will be exactly the same as in the past. Where are all these intelligent people who are located here?
I’ve lived in Windsor my whole life. I’ve been educated here by wonderful teachers and raised my family here. I can’t believe how stupid so many educated people have become.
