With FleshLife: The Adult Entertainment Industry Turns To Branded Web Series

from www.reeleo.com – I guess we’re all adults here, but I’m going to try to keep things respectable. I’m going to try to approach this with maturity and sensitivity, and hopefully you’ll be able to respect me in the morning. Because when it’s your duty to talk about web series news, and you see a new branded web series involving adult toys come crashing onto your desk, you make it your duty to report it. Sex sells. So do fleshlights, the adult toy for men who think that blow-up dolls are too embarrassing.

Fleshlight has released three episodes of a branded new web series in the same vein as Back on Topps, a series that uses the brand name as a source of conflict and comedy. It’s called The Fleshlife, and you can see it right on YouTube right after you get done with your Shane Dawson marathon–though it is age-restricted, for obvious reasons. The first episode is here. I don’t think I’ll embed it. Hey look, here’s a picture of Shane Dawson:

I watched the first episode and it’s actually pretty funny. These two guys, Jeffrey and Otto, are given the extremely difficult task of trying to come up with a new idea for the business. They have a boss who is a lot like those old uber-fitness guys, with the weird, stretched skin and the jogging outfit. They are actually trying to brainstorm the new wave of adult toy technology.

Hey, you know…if you are the maker of the fleshlight, you have to have a sense of humor about it. All the other “clean” brands are out there making original content videos, getting their product name out there in different ways, so the adult toy industry isn’t going to be any different. It’s not much of a surprise really, since we know what a lot of people do when they use the Internet. This type of programming is likely to become more plentiful in the future.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this show exists. You may now get on with your regular day.
