XXX Truth or Dare is giving back to its community! The company behind XXX Truth or Dare has announced today that starting in July, 2012, it will now be giving an across-the-board 3% donation of its games revenue to support Safe Spaces for Survival Sex Workers on a continual basis.
XXX Truth or Dare has linked up with the PACE Society. PACE is a sex worker-led and driven organization, offering low-barrier programming, support and safe spaces for survival sex workers in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (www.pace-society.org/)
Sean, Director of XXX Truth or Dare, states “we are very proud to announce our support for the PACE Program. They do such an incredible job in helping and supporting survival sex workers through support services for housing, employment, clothing, toiletries or just about anything else that could help ease their living conditions.
PACE’s story is inspirational. In 1994, a group of sex worker activists and community supporters came together to form PACE when they realized that perhaps only sex workers could understand the needs of sex workers. This is a program to help and support people in creating a better life, to create dignity and confidence and to show survival in a world where the less fortunate really do seem to get forgotten.
PACE’s mission is to treat every sex worker as equal and invaluable members of the community! What this means in reality is that EVERY single game (Straight, Gay or Lesbian) we sell, regardless of retail, store or distributor, we will pass on 3% to PACE to help support their incredible cause. We hope our donations will push others within our industry to do the same.”
