BURBANK, CA – The KSEXradio Co-Ed softball team starts WINTER PLAY in January and we’re lookin’ to re-vamp the team to be more industry represented. The games are played on Sunday afternoons in Burbank between the hours of 1pm and 7pm, weekly, except holidays. It’s slow pitch, 12′ arc half male/half female participants.

The team, formerly known as The Wankerz, has been in the league for three years [about 9 seasons] and has been to two Championships, winning one of them. It’s probably a “B” or “C” league-level team, no superstars, but very competitive and a lot of fun and we’re looking to fill positions as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, with the Vegas convention in January, some players may miss a game or two at the start of the season while away in Nevada. We’re hoping to have alternate players filling in for those dates. Anyone else on the team, “the starters” are expected to be at, at minimum 8 out of the 10 games during the season, especially playoffs, should we make it that far.

We have found, the field set up on the right hand side grid, is the strongest co-ed formation to apply to the game, if you have skilled players in the positions shown.

We already have our starting Short Stop, starting First Base Woman and scattered other spots, but need starters in the positions listed above. If you are interested in playing but can’t commit to all games, we can certainly put you on the alternate roster, meaning we’ll call you when we need you, some weekends we’ll know in advance, others we’ll be calling you last minute.

This is a fun pass-time but the team does play hard and take it seriously so please only contact us if you’re serious about it. If you can’t throw, catch or hit, don’t bother. You don’t have to be an awesome player, but you gotta have some skills.

There will probably be a couple of practices in December and there’s always a bit of partying after the games. KSEXradio is sponsoring the team admission costs although you may be required to chip in for uniforms and ump fees.
