Porn Valley- [The National Ledger]- TNA Knockout Shelly “Salinas” Martinez (who was “Ariel” in WWE-ECW) is in the center of a wild controversy that has professional wrestling fans salivating.
OK, maybe that was the wrong choice of words. The super buxom latina actress has co-starred in uninhibited porn star Jewel De’Nyle’s newest flick “The Notorious Jewel De’Nyle and Shelly Martinez – Who’s the Bitch Now?
According to an exclusive report on Wrestling News Desk.com, when it first came out that Shelly had co-starred in a porn film, she responded strongly to the rumors, posting on her MySpace page that “there is a huge difference between porn and Bettie Page style fetish shoots!” Now comes the box cover (which features Jewel and Shelly topless) and production stills, and to say these pics are anything but “Adults Only” would be an understatement.

While pro wrestling and the adult film world have always been kindred spirits, the connection has grown closer in recent years. The barriers were broken down in 1997 when Paul Heyman started using the world most popular and famous porn star Jenna Jameson on his original ECW television programs.
Jenna, looking towards the future, waived any request for payment in exchange for commercials that aired on ECW’s television show for her website with Wicked Pictures, the prelude to her multi-million dollar “Club Jenna” juggernaut. WWE introduced a character named Val Venis whose character was that he was a former porn star.
Jasmin St Claire, queen of many illicit films, got involved with ECW in 1999, and Extreme porn director Rob Black used money from his porn company Extreme Associates to fund an ECW-wannabe promotion called XPW (Xtreme Pro Wrestling) which featured such adult stars as Krysti Myst and Black’s wife, acclaimed adult director Lizzie Borden.
Softcore fetish model Candice Michelle changed the game when she rose to the top of World Wrestling Entertainment, but one has to wonder what TNA President Dixie Carter thinks of this new DVD release, since “Bettie Page” and “fetish” references were used so strongly.
