On April 9th, Vivid put out out a press release about Allie Haze being at Miami Expo, with this statement to say that Haze will mingle with her fans: “Allie Haze, winner of top awards from XRCO, NightMoves magazine, TLAraw.com and XCritic.com. She plays Princess Leia in Vivid’s smash hit Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, currently topping the adult bestseller list. She’s eager to get to Exxxotica, commenting, ‘Nothing is more important to me than meeting my fans. We tweet each other constantly, but it’s always great to see them in person.’
On May 14th: Haze announced her departure from Vivid in which she said she was interested in taking her career in a new direction.
“There are many great producers in the industry and each has been supportive of my career,” she says.
“I’m not sure yet which direction I will go, but the options are limitless and I feel blessed. This is a great time to be an adult performer.”
Not to make a big thing of this, first she says she’s taking her career in a new direction then she’s not sure which direction.
Then this week CraveOnLine asked her why she decided to leave Vivid. Haze answers that she did it for her fans.
Replies Haze: “Vivid was an awesome company to work for and I had a great time with them, but it was just time for me to get back to my fans and to do things a little bit differently. I paid attention to my fans, and there was a really good response to me changing it up.”
C’mon. When did any porn performer leave a lucrative association with a name brand company for her fans.
