Right now Duke, a very spiritual person according to the cards, wishes her luck could be better [we could all use some of that]. On the bright side, she trusts her judgment and instincts, has a positive outlook and faith in herself.

On the medical front there could be a false alarm. Whether it involves Duke or a friend is hard to tell. But someone needs to have a checkup just to be on the safe side. A problem over a pet, or sadness over cruelty done to an animal could also be indicated.

The card signifying Duke’s Tarot reading for now is the Six of Pentacles. The Six of Pentacles couldn’t be a more accurate reflection of the current state of affairs for Duke because it denotes a giving and receiving of money or charity.

The Free Speech Coalition exists on dues and donations, but the tilted scale [in the Rider-Waite deck] says there may be an imbalance, where there’s more going out then coming in.

In current career reflections, Duke feels like she’s hit a stone wall, and her best bet for now is to reflect on her past and draw some meaningful conclusions. The answers are there right under her nose. Duke’s been betrayed, and the footprints are there in the snow for her to follow. Where will they lead? Hmmm. Inevitably, she will discover some interesting facts that will open her eyes.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Duke, right about now, yearns for the good old days and would want to return to her former occupation or line of work in a heartbeat. Fact is, I’ve got a hunch Duke has been interviewing and mulling a job change.

There’s apprehension and anxiety over those prospects and a flip of the coin feel to its outcome. In other words does Duke know what she wants at this precise moment? The answer is no, of course not.

The offer‘s yet to be made formally and could come in December, but I could be wrong. Though I do see Duke in new surroundings and happier for it. Except I’m not entirely sure it’s this job offer or one yet to come down the pike. There’s no doubt however that Duke will be leaving the Free Speech Coalition. The question is when.

[Maybe it’ll be a few more years, but ultimately, I see Duke in an occupation where she’s self-employed and quite successful. It could be something in the nature of consulting or social services.]

The end of the Scorpio period, which is now, tells us Duke’s feeling like a lost soul, fighting a lost cause. She’s hanging by an emotionally thin thread, as would anyone, from all the second and third-guessing that’s been enveloping her. There’s no doubt Duke loves being in this business. Except this business would drive anyone certified.

Duke’s also going through those trying times where one daydreams and yearns for serenity and a quiet retreat overlooking the water. There are two choices offered here.

One is for Duke to roll over and play dead; the other is to get tough and aggressive. I’d imagine that Duke knows where a lot of bodies are buried and she can certainly use this knowledge to her advantage. The question is will she?

The answer to that [she believes] lies with a mentor, a person Duke respects, consults with and seems to hold the answers to her dilemma [she believes]. Except this is that one instance where Duke needs to heed her inner voice amid the confusion of well-wishers.

Her overall reading suggests a new face she should be showing and a new approach she should be taking.

This coming April looks to be the best month of the year for her.
