Porn Valley- Julie Meadows is taking a quick smoke break on Vampire Chronicles- a high definition shoot for brand new company ArchAngel owned by Jennifer James and Dru Berrrymore.

Meadows is wearing a robe and pink piggy slippers. Ibidibibidepoopoopoo. Julie just did her first ever girl-girl scene on the shoot, with Shay Sights.

“I started in the industry in [August] 1998 and this is my first girl-girl scene in front of the camera,” says Meadows. Asked why so long. Meadows said she was married and her ex didn’t like the idea of her doing something like that. Generally it’s the other way around but Meadows says he was different.

“I Iiked him for that and did it out of respect. But also most chicks don’t do anything for me. I almost did a girl-girl scene with Jill Kelly a year after I got into the industry but it didn’t happen. I was like well, maybe it’s a sign. And Shay is my best friend. So when Jennifer James came to me about doing the girl-girl scene, it was cool. It’s time.”

Meadows’ first movie was for Ed Powers, Dirty Debutantes 98. “I’ve been in ever since but I took a hiatus though this year. I took a break,” says Meadows. “I had just gone through a divorce. I didn’t want to bring a lot of my personal stuff on to the set because the last couple of jobs I took I did that and it didn’t feel very good. No one else deserves to be around that sort of thing.”

During the course of her hiatus, Meadows danced and indulged some hobbies she wanted to start. Assessing the breakup, Meadows said she got married too young. “I was 17 and he was 8 years older than me. He knew a lot more about who he was and I really didn’t know enough about who I was. But it was little bitty things over a long period of time. And that can create a big thing.”

“What part do you play in this vampire movie?”

“I play the true love of the lead character, Nicholas Esteban [Nick Manning],” says Meadows. “Before our wedding he gets turned into a vampire. He accidentally bites me then has to kill me because he loves me. Then in later centuries finds me again as a porn director! Your typical love story.”

Meadows was a stripper in Texas. “I had taken some acting classes and already done some work in front of the camera. Like commercials and independent film stuff,” she says. “I met director Michael Raven at one of the nude clubs that Sydney Steele was working at at the time. He approached me and gave me his card. I met him but it took about six months to call him. Finally I did. It looked like a lot of fun.”
