POCOLA, Okla. — Police shut down a local adult video store last week www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=16466 that officers said was breaking the law. However, that store was reopened for business Wednesday night.
Pocola officers raided Adult World after gathering evidence that the store was selling videos and magazines that violated state obscenity laws, according to police reports.
Investigators seized the store’s merchandise as evidence; however, officers said the store’s shelves were stocked Wednesday night.
Officials said there will be a hearing June 7 in Leflore County to discuss a permanent injunction against the store.
