Hollywood, CA-All Boys Distribution is proud to announce they have brought in one of the most well know sales reps to ever work in the adult industry Roy Karch.
Roy, NOT to be confused with the previous owner of Empire Video, has been doing sales in the Adult industry since the early 1980’s, and brings with him eons of experience in both sales, marketing, and management.
Rob Ragan, President of All Boys said, “I needed someone that could take care of my sales, take on 80% of my active account base, and open up all of the stores that have wanted to buy directly from me, and couldn’t, because I simply don’t have the time to dedicate myself in handling the special needs of what the smaller chains require. All I can say is I’m tickled to death that Roy called me.”
“We have been friends now since i was a teenager, just starting out in the industry, where he was the first sales manager I worked for at Western Visuals back in 87 when in started in sales.”
“I have known Rob Ragan for almost two decades,” says Karch. “He has always been an amazing salesman with a keen sense of the industry’s future, as it grew to be what it is today.”
Roy, who refers to himself “the original” Roy Karch said,”Working with Rob after so many years away from sales is a great opportunity for me. Together we plan to expand All Boys not only to the west coast but to broaden Europe as well. Rob already has a foot in the door across the pond having his flagship studio OTB in charge and running All Boys Europe and we’re hoping to assist them in having an even bigger presence there in the near future.I couldn’t be happier than to be reunited with my longtime friend and colleague. I’ve always admired Rob’s work ethic and straight forward approach to doing business with his customer’s satisfaction always foremost in his mind.”
“The intention of bringing in an experienced rep, and manager is for us to be able to again have offices on both coasts, so Rob won’t have to
work until 8 or 9 pm, and he can also deal with Alaska and Hawaii. Most of all I want to have another couple of reps working for Roy by the middle of next year,” adds Craig Rivas, Vice President of All Boys.
“We’re continuously growing here, and absolutely needed someone we can trust to do the right thing and help us build the rest of the sales portion of the company. Roy has already begun making calls, and getting acquainted with a few of the accounts. He’s getting his feet wet again, as he’s been out of sales for some years, but as anything else in life, once you master something, it’s yours for life…even if you don’t use it for a while.
