Porn Valley- Now that Johnny Cash is gone, director Andrew Blake, aside from photographer Richard Montfort and director David Aaron Clark, is porn's reigning man in black.
Blake is a Philly boy, and if a past conversation with him serves me well, he's from the Abington area of Philadelphia. Blake was on Jason Sechrest's, www.jasoncurious.com show Young and The Curious last week on KSEX. But there were no reminiscences about the Hot Shop or the old Willow Grove amusement park. Instead, Blake talked about what he does in the business.
"He's been directing since dirt was invented," said Sechrest making the introduction. Blake mentioned that he likes to shoot legs.
"I love legs," he said.
"I happened to notice that when I see your scenes with Julian," cracked Sechrest. "There's a lot of his legs, always. I've always noticed that."
At the mention, Blake recalled a scene he shot of Julian putting his dick into a shoe.
''He was like the perfect 8 1/2," said Blake, mentioning that it was a high heel. "And the balls made the heel." Blake couldn't remember the title aside from the fact it was a show he shot in Paris.
"That had so many emotional ups and downs for me." Kelle Marie who was also on the program recalled the shoot.
"It was hilarious," Marie chipped in. "Because one night when we finished shooting we all went back to my hotel room." Marie recalled that Adrianna Sage, Justine Joli, Celeste and another girl ["very Italian looking and she took it in the ass- I should remember"] were also on the shoot.
"We painted a bullseye on her ass," Blake recalled. "And we had ooze coming out of her mouth like blood."
Marie remembered everyone getting drunk afterwards in her hotel room, save for Blake, who went back to his room.
"We got drunk and made too much noise and security called us three times, please keep the noise down," Marie recalled. "Two men eventually came banging on the door and I opened the door with nothing but a towel around me. They're like, we've had a lot of complaints. Please keep the noise down. I said we're having an orgy, would you like to come in and join us?"
It wasn't clear whether security joined them or not but Blake also recalled Marie doing a pissing scene. Sechrest thought the exchange between Marie and Blake funny because of the way Blake was prompting her.
"You're talking to her like she's your granddaughter- honey, do you remember the pissing scene?"
Blake said the pissing scene was great because it was the coldest day in Paris and they were in a villa outside of Paris.
"It was beautiful and there were fire places going." Marie said the scene was never shown in the movie and Blake said that's because they "censored" him out.
Marie was dressed like a French maid and the movie was titled, appropriately, Maid in France. Blake remembered an incident in which Justine Joli wanted Marie to make her a martini.
"So you went to the bathroom," said Blake, "and you pissed and put an olive in it and you brought it back to her. She drank it, spit it out and then you pee'd."
"I pee'd my panties," said Marie. "But you didn't show it." Blake also recalled how he went to a place in Pigalle, the sex district, and went into a store.
"I looked around in the bestiality section," he continued. "And they had The Party Goat. It was some guy fucking a goat and it was a party, apparently." Sechrest asked Blake about the best experience versus the worst experience he's had shooting. Blake said the best had to have been with Kelle Marie in Paris.
"I think she's the quintessential model," he said. "She's spectacular, beautiful." Marie recalled that she also fucked herself with a banana. The worst, according to Blake was a couple he shot.
"The chick was Hungarian and the dude was French- and they couldn't do it. He couldn't get it up." Blake noted that he tries to make the conditions of the shoot as good as possible for the performers, then mentioned how the incident occurred when he was shooting for Penthouse.
"They wanted me to do dialogue-driven scenes," he continued. Marie mentioned how she and Blake were making a movie together.
"We want to do it all voiceover," she said. "Because people love my voice." Marie and Blake were going back and forth and Sechrest compared it to a lovers' quarrel.
"Are you lovers?" he asked her.
"Some times," she replied. "No, I'm playing. Andrew Blake and I have never had sex. We're too much good friends."Co-host Sam Phillips also pointed out that Blake's known for being a star maker.
"Like Janine," she said for illustration. "Like Dahlia, Jamie Deon." Blake remembered the scene he did with Janine and an ice dildo. Marie said she wanted to do Janine but didn't like the tattoos. "But I want to do her anyway." Blake said he dealt with a lot of Penthouse Pets and recalled Zara Whites.
