LAKE WALES, Fla. — Adult industry attorney Lawrence G. Walters has been named to represent Kimberly Kupps in her obscenity case.

Kupps earlier this month was arrested by Polk County sheriffs and booked on 13 counts of “wholesale promotion of obscene material” for shooting content out of her home for her website, KimberlyKupps.com.

Walters told www.xbiz.com that he intended to vigorously defend Kupps in her case noting that Sheriff Grady Judd in Polk County has a long history of First Amendment rights violations.

Walters said he hasn’t viewed the allegedly obscene material, “since all of our client’s computers and media were seized by law enforcement.”

Kupps has established a legal defense fund, and hopes that the industry will contribute to this effort to fight the censorship machine in Polk County, Florida”
