Jackson, Mississippi - from www.clarionledger.com - Several dancers were arrested on Friday during a sweep of adult entertainment clubs by the Jackson Police Department vice and narcotics division, the department said today in a news release.
Police arrested 13 people at Babes Cabaret,1100 S. West St., including 11 of the club’s entertainers, police said.
Charged with violation of the city ordinance for allegedly dancing nude are Angelica Doggett, 21, Amanda Gutierrez, 25, Alena Bloudhoa, 28, Ivory Diane Johnson, 29, Anna Ducker, 39, Carmice Barnes, 28, and Rebecca Baker, 26.
Ashley Evers, 23, Ruth Robinson, 24, and Crystal Stewart, 26, are charged with violation of the city ordinance for allegedly having improper contact with customers, police said.
Ashley Cathlin Lovett, 32, is charged with violation of city ordinance for allegedly having improper contact with customers and solicitation for prostitution, police said.
Club manager Richard Merritt, 37, is charged with violation of city ordinance for allegedly allowing illegal acts to occur.
Police also charged customer Jefferson Carter, 30, for allegedly using abusive language.
