In its newest issue, the tabloid published a “world exclusive” story alleging Brown is “hooked on cocaine and booze.

“The article is accompanied by a series of pictures purporting to show the 17-year-old snorting cocaine. Both of Brown’s parents, Houston and father Bobby Brown, have struggled with drug addictions in the past.But Brown, who turns 18 on Friday, took to Twitter to slam the story – and the ex-boyfriend she thinks is behind it.”

“God will smite them yes.”

“But it’s really not what it looks like,” Brown continued.

“People will do anything for money which is extremely sad and I’m very hurt by this.”

Brown followed up several hours later to share that her “mom just comforted me to the max.”

“I’m following my mother’s footsteps industry wise,” she added.

“My family is great –and I know I will overcome this and succeed. This is all I’m gonna say.”After a few hours passed, Brown took up the subject yet again.”The person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour,” she tweeted. “I was in love — he was in love with money. I’ve learned my lesson.”

“I’m so much greater and blessed for it today and I believe nothing less. That is the last I will speak of this, let’s praise god,” she continued.
“And be greatful and thankful for your family and people that truly love you, strength, courage and life lessons learned.”

According to the National Enquirer who obtained the pictures, she was snapped using the drug at two different parties.

The article that she regularly indulges in marijuana and ‘guzzles beer and gets smashed on Everclear, a potent grain alcohol.’

A former boyfriend of Kristina went to the magazine with the claims.

He said that Brown admitted that she is becoming like her mother Whitney, who has had her own past problems with substance abuse.

‘Krissi is addicted to cocaine. I’ve tried to stop her, but all she said was, ‘I’m just like my mother!”‘ he told the magazine.

He alleges that the teen is addicted to the drug and claims to have witnessed her out of control behaviour at one of the parties.

‘Krissi was pretty wired. I also saw her kiss a man and drink a 40-ounce bottle of Budweiser,’ he said.

‘Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself. If Krissi doesn’t stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her!’

Taking to her Twitter account, Kristina has hit back at the damaging claims and said that the person behind the story should be ashamed.

‘The pictures – a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes…,’ she wrote.

‘But it’s really not what it looks like.. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.

‘Thing’s people do these days to hurt others is a shame. All I can do now, is keep my head up high, keep looking towards the lord.

‘All the lord is telling me is be still. That’s all, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. #BeStill.

She said her mother Whitney has been especially supportive during the ordeal.

‘I love my family so much. My mom just comforted me to the max, and I’m so thankful for her, ‘ she said.

‘Thank you so much lord for blessing me with an Phenomenal family and incredibly phenomenal mother. Thank you for giving me the strength to move forward and put things in the past.

The teenager believes that the person who sold the pictures used her for monetary gain.

‘The person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour. I was in love – he was in love with money. I’ve learned My lesson,’ she said.

‘I’m so much greater and blessed for it today, and I believe nothing less.’

In her statement, she also said that she will not be addressing the incident again.
