LAS VEGAS - Two professional bodybuilders charged in the slaying of a live-in aide face trial this week in a Las Vegas court, police said Monday.

Kelly Ryan, 33, is due in a Las Vegas court Tuesday to face accessory to murder and arson charges in the slaying of Melissa James, 28, a former fitness instructor from New Jersey.

Her body was found Dec. 14 in Ryan's burned Jaguar off a desert highway several miles outside Las Vegas.

Craig Titus, 41, arrived at Clark County jail Saturday following his transfer in custody from Stoughton, Mass., police said. Titus is due in court Wednesday on murder and arson charges.

Ryan arrived in Las Vegas from Stoughton on Thursday.

The couple is named in a warrant issued Dec. 20 in Las Vegas along with Anthony Gross, 23, who was charged with being accessory to murder and third-degree arson. Gross is free on bail pending a preliminary hearing April 6.

Titus, who won a 1996 bodybuilding championship and competed in Mr. Olympia events, and Ryan, a past Fitness America and Fitness International winner and Fitness Olympia runner-up, were arrested Dec. 23 in Stoughton, about 15 miles south of Boston.
