Porn Valley- Elvis left the building a long time ago, and a very strong rumor has it that Bridgette Kerkove is right behind him. I'm hearing that Kerkove has left the business- largely at the behest of her mother. Not that the shots that Kerkove took across the bough from ex-hubby Skeeter in recent months didn't have anything to do with it.
I was the first to disclose the fact that Bridgette Kerkove retired from porn in 2001 when she had won Best American Actress at the Venus Fair Show. Kerkove was at the top of her game at the time, having been acknowledged as the undisputed anal queen of 1999, 2000 and 2001. And, as Skeeter probably would have said, she made interracial anal the law of the land. Kerkove was also the first woman to have taken both Mandingo and Lexington Steele in a d.p. The only other girl to have done that, but later, was Belladonna.
Kerkove was also the progenitor of the bat-in-the-ass trick. But in 2001 Kerkove decided to have a baby with Skeeter, declaring that she would never perform again. Five months into the pregnancy of their youngest daughter, Kerkove had missed the action of porn. She had expressed the fact that she wanted to go back to performing but only in Skeeter's movies. Skeeter suggested not only his movies but certain other directors as well and that she would be turned into a director. One stipulation was apparent- that if Bridgette did scenes again they would be double anals or multiple guys so that the scenes in her own productions would stand out. Juicy was the first movie in which Kerkove as a director had complete dominion in casting and producing. Johnni Darko was the cameraman and photographer in that movie.
Bridgette Kerkove chose Mark Wood to be her partner in the movie and that was the last scene she ever performed in which was in September, 2003. Coicidentally, the shoot was conducted at the Andora location in Chatsworth not more than 400 feet from her own home. Skeeter babysat that day- a point of significance because Kerkove would later contend in court documents that she'd never allow Skeeter to or trust him with their children.
However, during the first week she was in the business, Kerkove was already doing double-anal. In January, 1999, for her third professional scene, Kerkove appeared in Gangbang Bitches 23 for Plum Productions/Al Borda video. Although the director Al Borda was off somewhere else, the Kerkoves demanded numerous double anals- including interracial for a stretch of over 45 minutes. Bridgette's rotating partners were Pat Myne, John Strong, Marc Anthony [serving as the anchor], Guy Di Silva and Arnold Schwartzenpecker. Marc Giffey was the cameraman.
All of this is a backdrop to Bridgette Kerkove's recent decision to get out of porn - a career that earned her over a million dollars in her first two years. Why she is leaving is more clear than to what she'll be doing from this point on. But she will no longer produce, direct or have anything more to do with porn. Her mother, Debbie Felkel is reportedly ecstatic over the fact; and Kerkove, now embracing religion, has been heard praying out loud in public places.

Felkel, a registered nurse at Kaiser Permanente, stressed to her daughter that it's good to be poor and that what she had was sin money, that Skeeter was the devil and their baby daughter would rot in hell. Kerkove is now, apparently, following the path of overzealousness her mother wanted her to take all along.
