Los Angeles – AVN Hall of Fame Superstar Brittany Andrews celebrated her much anticipated return in front of the cameras with a star studded party held at The Standard Hotel the day after filming her scenes for the upcoming Sex and the City parody by New Sensations.
Champagne was flowing along with endless popping flashbulbs as many adult and mainstream industry people, including cast and crew members from Sex and the City, joined Miss Brittany to celebrate on the rooftop of the chic Downtown L.A. hotel. Miss Brittany took a hiatus from adult projects in April 2007 to move to New York in order to pursue a degree in mainstream filmmaking.
“The Standard rooftop is a beautiful place to have a party. I had my retirement party here three years ago and thought it would be the perfect place to launch my comeback” Andrews said.
Before her retirement, Miss Brittany was inducted into two Hall of Fames, has graced the cover of every major adult magazine, has made over 10 appearances on “The Howard Stern Show” and was picked by Playboy to be in there Magazine as one of the Top 10 Adult Film Stars of All Time. Andrews has also Directed and Produced her own movies and has hosted many cable and internet shows over the years that have won her various awards throughout her illustrious career.
During the party, Interviews with many industry movers and shakers were filmed in one of the hotel’s lavish suites for the upcoming documentary “Stage Brother” – with Miss Brittany appearing in the doc as mentor and also co-producing with director Richard Bounagurio about his sister’s journey to enter the adult industry.
Later this month, Miss Brittany will be attending the premiere of “Crumble” a gritty mainstream short film she Produced starring Steven Bauer of Scarface. She will also oversee the launch of “These Showers Can Talk” a mainstream film starring Miss Brittany about lesbian stereotypes by director Gabrielle Lindau.
Miss Brittany is excited to be coming back into the adult industry. She plans to incorporate her filmmaking degree into making some amazing quality but super naughty and nasty adult content. She also has some dance tours for the fans and is looking forward to doing more exciting adult film roles while still also pursuing her mainstream projects in NYC. She has, and always will be, a Jill of all Trades.
