Serenity is now retired from the business and has her mind on other things including a new child. But she mentioned that, while it might be an urban myth, she had heard once that the most common form of porn star death----far more likely than say violence or drugs---- was car accidents.
Last week, my best friend, adult actress, Caroline Pierce was in a horrible accident and was pretty banged up but fortunately she has survived her accident and will not be adding to that grim statistic. She is out of the hospital as of yesterday, and I am happy to report that long term it is clear now she will be fine. The sad thing is that, as with other entertainers, porn star is not a job that comes with any health insurance. And, so events like this can quickly become financially devastating, but far more important is that Caroline's fans and friends should know she is going to be physically alright in a few months.
