WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA -- The 6th Annual GayVN Award nominations were announced last week with Channel 1 Releasing bringing in an astounding total of 22 nominations, 12 of which are for "BOLT," the company's most lavish production ever and their most expensive to date from CHI CHI LARUE's Rascal division. The two-part epic has garnered LARUE another Best Director nomination, as well as Best Picture, Best All-Sex Video, Best Art Direction, Best DVD Extras, Best DVD Special Edition, Best Editing, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Music, Best Videography, Best Group Scene for the "Final Orgy" and Best Sex Scene featuring Rascal Video exclusive JOHNNY HAZZARD and the legendary porn icon, ZAK SPEARS. In addition, Rascal Video exclusive EDDIE STONE has been nominated for the prestigious Best Newcomer honor, as well as Best Sex Scene for his work with FILIPPO ROMANO in the shot-on-location "When in Rome," the movie also given a nod for Best Packaging. Incidentally, Rascal is the only company to be nominated thrice in the Best Sex Scene category, inlcuding TAG ADAMS and GUS MATTOX's performance in the movie, "Raw Footage." Rounding out the nominations is LARUE's groundbreaking solo masterpiece "Str8 Shots," featuring the most famous straight male pornstars in the business. The GayVN's have nominated the movie for Best Solo Video along with straight sex stud JULIAN for Best Solo Performance. Other divisions of Channel 1 Releasing took in their own nods, DOUG JEFFRIES' Electro Video nominated for Best Screenplay for "Little Big League" and Best Ethnic-Themed Video and Best Packaging for "Manhandled." Meanwhile, Channel 1's partnered company, Unzipped Video, received a Best Speciality Release (18 - 23) nod for "Dorm Days," also directed by LARUE.
