VENICE, CA – The multidimensional career of Christie Stevens continues to expand and this time she’s expressing herself in possibly the most vulnerable manner yet: as a columnist for XCritic.
In “People Still Ride Horses,” the starlet introduces herself as one of porn’s most progressive and positive thinkers, a girl who refuses to get bogged down in the good old days and insists on celebrating the present.
“No, I don’t wish to see what the industry was like 15 years ago,” she writes, “because it’s in the past. No industry will ever be what it used to be. The car industry isn’t what it used to be. But people are still making money. Good money. And quite frankly, if things weren’t changing and evolving, I’d be worried.”
It’s a slap at spinning one’s wheels in nostalgia and a shout-out to plunging ahead and taking life and career by the horns as they are in the here and now.
“I’m ecstatic to be part of the XCritic team and to reach out to my fans and fellow colleagues through my new blog,” she says about her endeavor as a columnist.
Christie also has a hit on her hands with OMG…It’s the Dirty Dancing XXX Parody, which has debuted on the AVN Retail Buzz chart at #12. It’s Christie’s first stab at a parody and an excellent showcase of her broadening talent.
Fans in the Florida area will have the opportunity to meet Christie at Exxxotica Fort Lauderdale. She will be attending May 31 through June 2 (Friday through Sunday), signing at the LA Direct Models booth.
