Pastor Tammy writes: Hello Gene. Check out our report on xxxchurch at Dr. Suzy's, www.christploitation.com. I was there hanging out with the boys from x3c and also I appeared as a guest on Dr. Susy's to promote our partnership with Miss Poppy Christian Panties right after them.
The reception they received was their own doing, it was not because they are "christians." They refused to enter the set making demands that the sexual activity be modified and did this for several minutes. They did not get a rash of shit until THEY held up the production. Would that be tolerated on any porn set that you know of? They need to take responsibility for their mistake and not blame this on an "unfriendly crowd" which did not become unfriendly until they insulted the host and her MC delaying production with fundamentalist demands. This is the article Pastor Tammy is referring to: September 11th was a busy day for my husband and I. First, we attended a lovely dinner with Miss Poppy and her husband earlier in the evening. Miss Poppy lovingly prepared a pretty basket of goodies for Dr. Suzy, including two pairs of her exclusive line of Christian Panties. Afterwards, we headed over to Dr. Suzy's show where Mike and Craig from xxxchurch.com were scheduled as guests on Dr. Suzy's Sept 11th Bonobo Peace Celebration.
I want to start by saying that the potential to make friends and even win hearts was definitely there for the xxxchurch boys; but unfortunately they came woefully unprepared to reciprocate the graciousness of Dr. Suzy, unprepared for the ultra- liberal political content mingled with free love and the philosophy of ethical hedonism promoted by Dr. Suzy. And it goes without saying: they were not prepared to debate their positions in such a highly charged political/sexual atmosphere.
This was the first time I have ever met Mike and Craig and the journalists following them around that night. On a personal level I really like the boys and they have really grown on me over the past couple of years. But, like Dr. Suzy, I strongly disagree with the born-again fundamentalist christian theology. I enjoyed chatting with them, hanging out with them and doing what I could to try and make them feel more comfortable at the show. Above all, regardless of their fundamentalist beliefs, I wanted to make sure that people there knew how committed Mike and Craig are to free speech on their website message boards. I believe the boys deserved a wholly fair appraisal of their efforts, not just a critical response to the fundamentalist part. Give credit where credit is due; and that would have been an easier task if Mike and Craig had, in a manner even uncompromising to their own beliefs, researched the show and reciprocated the graciousness of the host.
