Everyone struggles with their teen years. You are going through that awkward phase of growing up, going through puberty and seeing the opposite sex in a whole different way. But for some it is a little more difficult than that. What if you didn’t even know what sex you were? How would you even know what sex to lust after with those teen raging hormones?
For 27-year-old adult seductress Allanah Starr it was just like the latter. Like so many before him the Cuban born boy was brought to the United States by the way of Miami, at the age of five. Allanah then spent 16 years of her life not knowing what or who she really was. She and her parents knew she was too effeminate for the male gender. At 20-years-old Allanah made a life altering decision. She was going to live as a woman. To date she has had about 22 different kinds of cosmetic surgeries and over 40 cosmetic procedures.

Innocent Words Adult: How was the Shemale Wild West Weekend this year?
Allanah Starr: The Shemale Wild West party was absolutely the most amazing event I have had to date. It was completely packed with over 300 guys and about 150 t-girls. My parties are usually pretty wild, but this one was REALLY wild. Because of its success, I have now made a deal with the club to have my Shemale Exotica events on a bi monthly basis; the last Thursday of every other month.
IWA: Did you do anything special for this one?
AS: Actually every party is pretty special because they take a lot of planning and detail. There is always a theme and the decor and entertainment are based around that. I always have new special guest XXX stars as well as tons of giveaways, about 20 dancers, and lots of live photo shoots and novelty acts. It was a challenge to decorate and entertain with a western theme but it surpassed my expectations.
IWA: I like how you stress for the party that EVERYONE was welcome, is that something you set out from the beginning to achieve?
AS: I think that is very important because often people who are attracted to TS girls have a lot of issues. It’s really a very confusing subject because our society draws such clear lines between sex and gender and what roles they should play. One of my goals when organizing these events was to create a no attitude atmosphere where everyone and anyone could come out and have a great time. We get a really diverse crowd of people and that proves that this kind of attraction extends itself to all races, sexes, and economic backgrounds.
IWA: It seems Transsexuals have such an underground following, why do you think that is?
AS: I think it’s because the TS scene itself is very underground. I always say that transsexual porn is the bastard child of the adult industry because no one who watches it and enjoys it would readily admit to it. In many ways, it is one of the last sexual taboos in our culture.
Not many men would come out and admit that their girlfriend might have a penis, so the nature of the attraction itself makes the subculture be underground.
IWA: Do you get tired of the typical shemale questions?
AS: No. Most people are just really curious and as long as they are being curious and respectful I do not mind. I do find that everyone pretty much has the same questions and if I don’t answer them I can’t expect people to become more educated on the subject and lifestyle.
IWA: In your bio you seem so grateful to live in America now, how long did you live in Cuba before you came here?
AS: I am very grateful to be able to live in America. I was born in Cuba and lived there until I was five-years-old. I think people such as myself, who were born under oppressive regimes, sometimes appreciate the freedoms that so many Americans sometimes take for granted even more. If my family had never come to this country I could not live as I do today. I am very proud to be an American. I really do not agree with the policies or the current government, but that is what America is all about, the right to disagree.
IWA: I really like how you explained a lot of things on your website. (www.allanahstarr.com) Mostly about your life and the freedom you seem to hold in your life. I imagine it must have been tough at a younger age though, not knowing your sexuality?
AS: I had a very tough childhood. It is very confusing growing up when you definitely feel there is something very different about you and you have no idea what it is. I was always very effeminate and that caused a lot of hardship in school and in life at that age. It was not only my sexuality that was the issue but my gender. Bottom line is that in life you have to fight and survive many things. I never look back and feel sorry that I had a fucked up childhood or life. I look back and I am proud that I over came and survived all that stuff.
IWA: You admire the 50s stars like Marilyn and Jane Mansfield etc. I love those girls and black and white films. What makes me sad though, they would be considered “fat” by today’s society. (I know this really isn’t a question)
AS: I have always been attracted to that kind of aesthetic. There are all types of women out there and there is definitely something for everyone, but I modeled my look after those 1950s sirens. I always liked big boobs and a curvy figure. If I wanted to be skinny and have no shape I would have stayed a boy. When you compare the faces and bodies of the stars of back then to the ones of today, it is easy to see how much more glamorous and well put together those women were. I think a lot of men like girls with curves and big boobs. Remember people running the fashion magazines and image factories are usually not straight men.
