“Sex, money and not doing good in college,” she says. “I had to do something.” Asked what she was trying to do in college, Peach says nothing. “I was doing a lot of stripping and having some sex with roommates. Pretty much doing the same shit I do here but not getting paid for it.” And things haven’t changed says Peach who still has no idea what she’d like to do when she grows up. “Eventually I’ll figure something out because I can’t be 80 and still doing porn.”

I wondered how Peach made the porno connection living in Alabama. “It was summer break from college,” she explains. “I met somebody who said I could dance in San Francisco, that they knew a place where I could make a lot of money. I drove out there and didn’t like the place.” Peach said it was the Market Street Cinema. “It was real gross,” she laughs, noting that everything turned her off about it. “There wasn’t anything I liked about it. I stayed there for like half a day and left. The owner told me that if I left early I couldn’t come back to work. I told him not to worry about it. I wasn’t coming back anyway!” From there Peach drove to LA.

“A friend of mine was visiting a friend of hers,” she explains. “We met up. While I was down here I went to World Modeling. I didn’t think they’d get me work real quick, but like the next day two days later…I tried to do the whole commuting thing from San Francisco to LA because I was living up there. But it’s hard. Like a four or five hour drive and I just moved down here.”

Peach recalls that there was nothing special about her first scene. “The check bounced,” she laughs. “I caught a disease and couldn’t work for a week.” She eventually got her money. “When you’re new you don’t know who the bad guys are and who the good guys are. But I learned real quick.” I point out to Peach that she got the double-whammy and that rarely happens. “That’s how I felt,” she said. For the record, Peach got a disease that was curable.

I went back to San Francisco for a week, got rid of it, came back down clean and I don’t think I caught anything after that, actually.” Asked if she worked with that person or for that company again, Peach says no. “Never will. I might work with that person again only if they have less than a week-old test. I’m real careful now.”

Peach agrees that you could call her college years party central. “Pretty much,” she says. “I was working two jobs. I was working at the library right after school. And I was stripping at night. My roommates were all big partiers so I didn’t have a focus. I didn’t know what I wanted to do in college. It was pretty much a big party.” Asked what prompted her to do porn, Peach says she’s not really good at stripping. “I’m trying to get better at it but I used to have to really get drunk to strip. And I don’t drink really any more. I’m trying to get over the stage fright aspect of it.”

I ask Peach if she was the kind who would start stripping at a college party. “Yeah, I get horny when I get drunk,” she says. “I’ve always been comfortable with my body. I don’t have anything personally against them. They’re just people I don’t get along with.”

Peach was particularly happy with the way her scene went with Otto Bauer. “He was really professional,” Peach says. “I like it when it can look really intense, but they’re not killing me or not purposely trying to make me bleed.” I mention to Peach that she’s something of a screamer. “I get carried away with that,” she says. “I’ve toned it down a lot, actually. I’ve received complaints from the neighbors.” Given a preference for sex positions, Peach has this to say.
