Phoenix, Arizona- Saturday morning Chef Jeff was serving his co-star Carolyn Reese breakfast in bed.

I have to ask Jeff what it was about the girl that Reese replaced. Something about a tattoo.

“I don’t have a problem with tattoos,” Jeff answers. “But, collectively, as a group, my partners and I didn’t think Cali Cassidy had a tattoo that would photograph well. And we don’t photoshop because I like to present everything as it is.”

Jeff describes how Cassidy has a tattoo over her vagina that’s the outline of the state of California. The tattoo, not the vagina.

“She’s a gorgeous girl but sometimes you have to make tough decisions,” says Jeff.

And, no, Jeff says it wouldn’t have mattered if the tattoo had been the state of Arizona.

For her part, Reese gets on the phone and tells me how there were live webcams at the house monitoring her and Jeff’s activities.

“We did a couple of boy-girl scenes and I did a camshow for about an hour,” she adds. “It was reality-type stuff.”

While in Phoenix, Reese also got to see a movie, The Other Boleyn Girl, which she thought was really good. Asked what other films she’s seen recently, Reese liked the fourth installment of Rambo, and I had to agree with her there. Though Reese had more personal reasons why she liked the film. She worked on it.

“I used to do hair and makeup for mainstream before I got into the adult business,” Reese explains, noting that she did the hair for the rest of the Rambo cast when the movie was shot in Thailand.

“We were there for three months,” she states. “It was a great experience.”

No offense to Reese and her life choices, but I had to ask her why with gigs like that, she’s doing adult.

“I really enjoy doing hair and makeup- I’m an artist and I love it,” she replies. “But I also did a lot of fetish modeling since I was 19. I almost had my foot in the door then. I really wanted to do adult and once I finally pursued that, I just fell in love. I love this.”

Although Rambo proved to be her big feature film experience, Reese worked on a number of TV shows including reality shows produced by Mark Burnett. And that’s where she got to work with Sylvester Stallone the first time in The Contender.

“His personal hair dresser was a good friend of mine,” Reese explains. “And I also worked with him when he did a cameo on the show, Las Vegas.”

It was about a year ago that Reese decided to make the leap to adult.

“I always wanted to, even as a young girl which is really funny,” she says. “When I was 19 I did a fetish modeling and nude modeling. I did that for a few years and ended up getting into makeup and hair. But I always had it in the back of my mind to pursue it.”

“I think that’s why I became an artist,” she says. “I have that kind of personality, and I’m a little bit eccentric. And later on in school, I was a little bit of a troublemaker. I went through that phase.”

As a “bad girl,” Reese describes how she’d ditch school, party a lot and run with a bad crowd. Her first sexual experience was with a girl where Reese was around nine and the girl was the same age.

“Since I was a child I always played house and doctors with my neighbors,” she explains. “We had sexual experiences but really didn’t know what we were doing. Yet we were a bit freakish. There was this one girl that I was really close friends with and we explored each other’s bodies. So we just explored and did what felt good.”

To Reese, feeling good was grinding up against her girlfriend and kissing her. Reese’s first sexual experience with a boy came at the age of 14. It was with a boyfriend, and Reese didn’t have any more of a clue then as to what she was doing.

Although Reese has been in Arizona in the past to visit friends, this was her first time working there.
