Porn Valley- I was on the set of Vampire Chronicles 3 from ArchAngel, www.archangelproductions.com, Dru Berrymore's company. The big news on the set Wednesday was Syren's first sex scene in three years. It was with Evan Stone, Syren's man off camera as well.
Syren was laughing about the gossip posted on Adultfyi.com http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=5308 regarding her antics with Stone in New Zealand last summer. But Syren says she and Stone have known each other much longer, that they met something like five years ago. And the pot had been simmering all this time.
Syren was giggling about what went on in New Zealand. "Actually Evan and I have known each other for five years," she says. "We were both starting up in the business. But I was in the wrong place and he was a different person. It didn't work. Then when I saw him in the airport on our way to New Zealand, it just felt natural." I tell Syren it must reacquainted her with old feelings and she liked that way of putting it.
"When we got there it was like old times," she says. "It was fun. We didn't have to talk much. It was a natural progression of things. Then we got back here and spent almost every day together since." I'm telling Syren she broad jumped her way into the bedroom, that I wanted some more detail. Syren explains that she's gone through a divorce and dating guys outside the industry.
"I didn't think about hooking up with him or anything," she says. "But I was glad to see him. It was a good thing. By that time I knew he had been separated, also. So I guess we were both single." Syren confesses that she was bad during that stay in kiwi land. "I was in my element." Syren laughs. "What is being reacquainted all about if we can't be bad at it?" she asks. I ask Syren if she thinks this would have happened had she and Stone bumped heads in Canoga Park and not in some romantic rendezvous.
"I don't know how it would have been," she states. I then asked Syren what it is that she really likes about Stone. "I like his warm, normal side," she answers. "I like sharing normal things with him. I like sharing normal times with him. I like hiking and spending time with the dogs; and traveling with him. I like just laying in bed and watching TV, cuddling. All the non-sexual stuff. Of course I like the sexual stuff, too, but I really enjoy the kind of relaxed feeling I have when I'm with him. There's no pressure. There's no stress."
Asked what it was like doing the scene with Stone, Syren said she insisted that Stone be in the movie. "Dru had become a friend of mine. We had been shooting a movie together in Florida for HBO. Originally she wanted this to be a throwaway scene with some unknown guy. Basically, they didn't want to waste Evan on such a little role. They still wanted him but they wanted him to have a big role in it." I agree, telling Syren that Stone has big hair and should have a big role.
"Exactly," she laughs. "So I finally ended up getting them to okay Evan." Syren said she was nervous when she woke up. "Evan told me everything was going to be okay. He said it's like riding a bicycle- you don't forget." I tell Syren at my age I forgot. Syren goes on to say that she was confident because of Stone's presence. "I know how he's so professional and is so good at what he does. Plus the fact that we have a connection made the scene that more hot. I held his eyes a lot during the scene and I tried to go into a private moment with him. But I kind of had to get used again to the cameraman saying you have to open to camera and listen to directions. I have to get used to that. I'm in the moment and have to re-think what it was three years ago when I was shooting scenes. Now it's something strange for me. It went well, actually. It was hot and I orgasmed."
Syren says she has intense orgasms. "I'm a screamer," she said. "But Evan always did that for me. Evan always gives me intense orgasms and an intense sexual experience. On camera and off camera." Going back to when they first met, Syren said Stone had just got here from Texas. "And I was just starting then. I got booked for a Sin City shoot in Lake Mead. "When I got back here in L.A. I had to go back to my normal life which is my marriage," she states. "So it wasn't the right time or the right situation for me. Nor was it for him. He ended up dating Jessica Drake and falling in love and getting married. He and I weren't ready. But we're happy and we're just enjoying the every day things right now. We're making up for lost time. It's a relaxed kind of chemistry behind us. I understand his job."
Syren has also been shooting movies for Cinemax and she laughs because she can't keep up with either the titles or the name changes. She knows one of them involved a swingers club. "And I played the stuck up actress," she chuckles. "It's a stretch! I've actually received so many e-mails about that episode. That's showing right now and we're preparing to shoot another one of those. It's going to be like who wants to date a porn star. It's structured like Blind Date- a similar kind of platform and we're going to shoot that next week."
Besides that, Syren's been feature dancing. "I just finished a whole tour," she states. "I was in Arizona, West Virginia, Oregon and Florida- one after the other. It was tiring. I got back here and crashed for a whole week. I didn't want to do anything. I just wanted to stare at my television screen, go to the spa, go to the gym; pamper myself. But when I got back I also shot another movie for Robert Lombard, www.creativeimagemgmt.com who books us for the softcore TV-stuff. I shot one of those features for Mainline Releasing. And I play a jewel thief. I'm the main lead. That was a good one and we shot for five days. I think it's going to be called The Player."
I ask Syren if she and Stone are planning to either tie the knot or just stretch it. "No, we haven't gone that far," she laughs. "I still have to have him meet my family. I've met his family. They're wonderful. In fact his mom went to New Zealand with us this last time. We were at his family's over Christmas and New Years. But I promised to bring him to the Philippines so he can meet my side of the family. Then we'll see. So far, so good."
