Ohio- from www.nydailynews.com – An Ohio creep lured young boys with candy and cigarettes into taking off their clothes – and amassed a “mind-boggling” collection of child pornography, police said Tuesday.

Richard Wood had more than 5,000 kiddie porn videos and 176,000 more sick images on his computer when he was busted.

“Personally, that’s the most I’ve ever seen,” Sgt. Edward Arledge of the Balitmore, Ohio police, told WBNS-10TV.

“Never seen anything even close to that. Normally we’d get maybe 100 and that’s what we would normally consider a pretty big case.”

The beady-eyed pervert has pleaded guilty to three felony counts of creating child pornography.

Wood lived right next to a park and has been linked to at least two Ohio kids. But police suspected he victimized kids across the U.S.

“These are just kids that we know about,” Baltimore police Officer Jason Harget said. “The scary thing is not knowing how many other victims we have.”

Although Wood has a history of preying on children, he never had to register as a sex offender because he was convicted before notification laws were put into place.

Police got wind of what Wood was up to after a worried parent notified them in September.

Prosecutors want to put Wood in prison for nine years and ban him from ever using a computer or the Internet again when he is sentenced in two weeks.
