The production company Shane’s World, known for bringing reality style programming to hardcore adult video, thinks it has found a bright spot: Crowdfunding. Yes, the concern is asking you, the porn aficionado, to pay for its next big title, “Shane’s World 43:”

Shane’s World announced today that it’s seeking to raise $25,000 in 45 days via adult crowdfunding site Offbeatr (yeah, that’s its name).

The company says it will be the first porn ever fully funded by its fans.

The campaign will see some lucky adult video patrons help with casting, help choose a location, receive “porn star telephone calls,” travel with the cast during production, take home “custom made sex videos,” get Shane’s World sex toys, and go to the “Shane’s World 43” premiere.

The business model for the adult industry is changing, and we have to change with the times. Offbeatr offers a new way to make high-quality, fun and sexy movies.

Sound enticing? Maybe not. After four days of crowdfunding the project has so far received only $205, which is barely enough to get a porn star to take her top off.
