Porn Valley - Porn performer Dale Dabone, who in his modest opinion is the most popular male porn star in the business, was the topic of conversation this week when Wankus, www.ksexradio.com related what happened during Porn Star Karaoke at Sardos this week.
"He [Dabone] walks up to the owner when he got there," related Wankus. "He walked to the front door and the owner's standing out there, and he walks up first thing, 'You know who I am?' They're like, nope. 'I'm Dale Dabone. I'm the most popular male porn star there is.' Unlike Nick Manning who Wankus said is a cocky fuck. "Nick's different. But you can make fun of him. He'll laugh it off. But Dale' really serious. One guy was trying to be nice, 'I've seen your movies,' but he really didn't."
Wankus: "He [Dabone] goes, 'Is it crowded in there?' They're like, yeah, and he says, 'Good because I only sing to a packed house.' Shut the fuck up. Then he comes on and sings- actually, he didn't sing too bad. When he was done, I go there he is, ladies and gentlemen, Dale Dabone, the most popular male talent in his own mind."
Wankus noted that Dabone was on KSEX a long time ago. "And he had said I'm leaving porn. He was coming on KSEX to announce his retirement because he was going into mainstream. I asked him on the show, I said, Dale, why are you going into mainstream? Swear to God, he said, 'Look at me. I'm too good looking for porn. I need to get into mainstream. There's movie companies calling me left and right.' So a month later he was back in porn."
Wankus refuses to ever have Dabone on again as a guest.
"Just because he was such a cocky-fuck," Wankus explains. "Nick Manning's cocky but he's fun. One time Nick Manning was here, I brought a mirror out and put it in front of his lap while he was doing an interview. He's really cool and laughs it off. Dale's like really cocky. He's Dale the God. He even yelled at the deejay, he said, ' Make sure you say it right, Da-bone, Da-bone.' "
Wankus said he was really tempted to mangle Da-bone's name at Sardos. "He's a good-looking guy and the girls say he's good in all the scenes, but fuck you."
