RESEDA, CA – Last week acclaimed director David Lord held auditions for his next parody based on the popular 80's television sitcom 'Home Improvement.' This week he is getting nominated for the 1st parody he ever shot, 'Tyler's Wood' from Adam & Eve, which went on to gain national attention via TMZ and E! Online news.
The movie, which lampoons the surreal cheating accusations levied against golfing great Tiger Woods, went on to rake in rave reviews, including an Editor's Choice from XBIZ, and to shatter sales records for the North Carolina based company.
“Everybody worked very hard on that show, right up until Christmas Eve because of production delays, so it's pretty exciting to start to see these positive reviews coming back,” Lord humbly offers. “I am grateful for the fans for showing their love and support and plan on continuing to push the limits.”
Lord was also nominated for Favorite Director and the biggest movie he produced last year 'The 8th Day' from Ren Savant and Adam & Eve, was nominated for Favorite Feature Movie.
“Again I am just deeply honored that the fans have recognized me,” echoes Lord. “There are a lot of great movies and directors and parodies on the list so I am going to just keep my fingers crossed for now. Good luck to everyone!”
